An Amazing Experience I had an amazing experience practicing yoga and receiving one of the best massages I have ever had at Be Here Now. The space offers sounds and breezes from the ocean, butterflies, hummingbirds, and singing cicadas all falling into rhythm with the vinyasa flow, creating an idyllic setting and a magical experience.

Outstanding yoga! Today I feel better than I have during my last two weeks of travel in Central America… after the most wonderful yoga class with Lize at Las Lajas. Even without the magical setting (gentle breeze, ocean waves, singing birds) this class does absolute wonders for your body and mind. Thank you Lize - see you next time for a longer stay 🙂

Excellent Yog and Wellness Retreat at Las Lajas Resort! I previously posted a rave review of the wonderful massages and blissful restorative yoga classes that I experienced with Lize. Earlier this month I was fortunate to participate in a Healthy Body and Happy Soul Wellness Retreat with two friends. Lize guided us through restorative yoga poses and breathing exercises which left me completely relaxed. The retreat also included a therapeutic and healing massage for each of us from Lize. We participated in sunrise and sunset meditations and as a bonus we were served coconut water and had a after sunset beach bonfire. The last morning of the retreat we were treated to a sound bath by Jana, another yoga teacher and massage therapist that lives in Las Lajas. The sound bath was a unique and completely meditative experience for me and I hope that I will be able to do it again soon. I feel so fortunate to have been able to participate in this high quality yoga retreat here in Panama. Lize is a gifted yoga teacher and massage therapist. I highly recommend her retreats, massages and yoga classes!

Awesome Wellness Retreat! Recently I attended a Healthy Body & Happy Soul Wellness Retreat at Las Lajas Beach Resort with two friends. We had arranged this private retreat for the three of us with Lize at the LLB Resort. We were all absolutely happy with the awesome quality of our retreat experience! There are so many highlights of the 3 day retreat that it is hard to adequately express them all. During our time there from late Monday afternoon checkin, until we left mid-day on Thursday, we had three yoga sessions, breathing exercises following the yoga, one massage apiece, sunrise meditation times, fresh coconut drinks served at sunset meditation times, bonfires on the beach at night under the stars, and a lovely sound bath meditation on our final day. We were sent home with handouts which thoroughly outline all of the practices we had just done. I am personally so impressed with the quality of Lize's gentle attentiveness and high degree of expertise in leading our yoga sessions. And the Deep Fusion massage which she gave me was one of the best I have ever experienced, and lasted 1.5 hours. I got distracted by the hummingbirds coming to the Barbados flowers which Lize has purposefully planted around the open air structure where the sessions took place. It felt so lovely and peaceful to be there, surrounded by the sound of the ocean waves and the sun-splashed beauty of the greenery and the flowers. It was not only the perfect setting, but it was the kindness and caring which Lize radiated towards each of us which made the entire experience so memorably beautiful. Karen Hill

Be Kind to Yourself and Indulge in this Healing Selfcare Every Day. I'm a total idiot for waiting until the last day to get a massage here. I should have gotten one to shake off the travel, one each day after the fabulous horseback riding with their sister company, and one to get me in shape to spent another day on the plane home. The surroundings of the space is fantastic - the ocean waves on the beach, the call of tropical birds, and the friendly nicker of the horses. The products used smell incredible and leave your skin glowing and soft. There is a strong sense of privacy in the space - a safe beautiful island - that allows you to drop your guard and cares and relax. Liza is very talented at her craft and is very good at communicating intention and knowing just what movement a particular muscle group needs to relax. Her yoga classes are legendary - several of my friends have traveled thousands of miles to enjoy this special space and her unique practice. Its become a “thing” the bond over every year. I must say - yoga under the moon and a star-filled night on a glistening beach made of fine-soft sand hundreds of feet from the shore is an other-worldly bucket list item you can only check here.

Best massage ever!! I stayed at Las Lajas Beach Resort for 12 days during July 2022. The beach was beautiful and the food was very delicious and healthy. I decided to get a 1 hour massage on the 3rd day and it was amazing!! The owner was the one administering the massage and I could tell she was very knowledgeable and experienced: she knew all my pressure points, she took time to Interview me and ask about what I do for work (construction) so that she could better understand how to help heal me. I was very relaxed to say the least, it felt like I was floating!! I fell asleep twice during the massage session and she checked on me to make sure I was fine. She used a combination of oils to help nurture my skin which was very dry and broken. 10/10 service, she is happy to help, I would recommend this to everyone who comes here. Don’t miss it!
